NLP works with our subconscious mind. Because the real truth behind anything that makes us feel stressed, uncomfortable or upset is often only found at a deeper level.
With NLP, I can help you go deep enough to find the answer and let go of unhelpful thoughts & feelings (it has been called "hypnosis with your eyes open"). To open your mind to new possibilities in your future. What professional standards do you follow?
I am a professional coach/therapist and I am always training in something new and different to expand and improve my skills. I carry full professional insurance and abide by the highest standards of conduct and ethics. You can be assured of the best help I can give and total confidentiality of our sessions.
Are the sessions in person or online?
Right now I do online sessions by Zoom or Skype (or any other video chat service available to us both). Language used is English.
How do I book an appointment?

I want you to get the very most out of our session, so I'll also be asking you to do some warm-up exercises to prepare for the changes to come. For example, I may ask you to keep a diary regarding your thoughts, feelings or behaviours for a week or two before the session and to email me a regular update.
I'll send you a copy of my client agreement so you can read it before our first session and details for payment.
On the day, wear your most comfortable clothes so you'll feel completely relaxed and just bring yourself and an open mind! For online sessions, make sure you find a private, safe place where you can talk openly, focus and not be disturbed in any way.

How long is a session and how many sessions will I need?
For a lasting difference, I always suggest 3 sessions to start (unless it's for a phobia or allergy which usually take only 1 session to release). Sessions are usually spaced a week or two apart at the most. Most people then like to top up with regular check-ins throughout the year.
A full adult session is 90 minutes. Mini sessions are also available - great for check-ins or those busy people who prefer many, shorter sessions. An hour is usually plenty for under 18s.

Can you help me if I'm taking medication?

I’m not a doctor, but my work can be a very helpful addition to your medical treatment.
If you are experiencing serious problems such as physical or sexual abuse, active addiction, serious mental illness or serious depression, I urge you to seek professional medical help immediately. I may ask for prior approval from your doctor if you're under medical care for any of the above.
And, for all clients, it's important you don't drink alcohol or take any other mind-altering substances on the day of our session. Because, like any medication, this can seriously stress your mind & body and can affect how open your subconscious is to change.

I may note down certain words and phrases you say to help me communicate better with your inner self and I'll also note down what techniques I use during our work together. You can request to see any notes I've made at any time. I'm obliged to keep the client intake forms and all records safe & secure for a certain period for insurance purposes. They are then securely destroyed.
I'll keep the content of our sessions confidential, unless I believe that doing so could endanger me, you or other people or unless the law requires disclosure of its contents, or unless I receive a written request from you to disclose some information.

Generally, I start by asking you some questions that may seem strange & unrelated to your issue. This is because I’m seeing how your subconscious works. It may respond with images and abstract words that you can describe to me. This will help me understand where the roots of the issue are hiding.
We then use a few different subconscious communication techniques to discover which ones work best for you, so we can get the breakthrough you need.
I may help you find old emotions or memories that need to be released for you to change and move forward. You won't relive painful memories if you don't want to, there are always other ways to release them.
I can also teach you empowering techniques to improve your emotional balance and flexibility. And to program in a new, powerful vision of your future so it pulls you forward.
And we may end with a deep mind and body relaxation to help reinforce the changes you have made.
Throughout the session, you do very little! Your subconscious and my insight do all the hard work! You just simply relax and focus on my questions and tell me what comes up in your mind. There are no wrong answers. I'm told that a session with me is like a relaxing, informal chat with a sensible friend. It will simply fly by!
